This small company from Sondrio, dedicated to operas in dialect, has embraced the challenge of eco-sustainability for the staging of the opera “Posa Ben”. Director Carlo Toini contacted our team of designers to create an environment that was not only eco-friendly but also helped to sustain the realistic atmosphere of the comedy.
We have therefore supplied furniture from the Golliaz and Ortles series, ecological Furca chairs and displays from the Pioda series, the use of cardboard has made it possible to create furniture that not only respects the environment but that integrates perfectly into the texture of the work. We also created a bespoke reception desk, customised with prints provided by the company which added an even more realistic touch to the set-up.
At the end of the performances, the enthusiastic feedback from the customer confirmed the success of the staging, also attributing credit to the cardboard scenography we created. Despite their amateur and provincial approach, months of commitment have produced an appreciated result, attracting every generation to the theater. Numerous spectators scrutinized the scenography closely, asking for details on the furnishings. The project not only met the expectations of the stage, but also stimulated the public’s interest in sustainability and creativity in the theatrical field, revealing the positive impact of innovative solutions even in amateur contexts.
