The promotion of quality accessories for man’s best friends lands at the fair with Axaeco and becomes sustainable with a natural cardboard stand .
Axaeco is a Swedish company that markets high-quality equipment for active dogs and sled dogs. All their products are characterized by innovative design and technological standards that ensure high performance. A few days ago, the company was one of the protagonists of Zoomark International, the international trade fair of reference for pet companies, from nutrition to products for the care and comfort of animals, from raw materials to packaging to services and logistics.
In line with their sustainable spirit, nature and animal lovers commissioned us at Natur Design to design the exhibition stand made of natural cardboard.
How is a cardboard stand born?
How is a cardboard stand born? In this case, the design was inspired by the places where the company is based. We therefore thought of the stand as a structure immersed in a typical Lappish landscape, white expanses of snow, large forests and the tireless running of dogs.
The stand was made entirely of white natural cardboard and consists of a back wall made up of panels that also act as displays flanked by a large functional column for the company’s communication. In fact, the external side has been printed with large images depicting the life of sled dogs with their companions, a nice attraction for visitors. To add to the dose, a giant screen has been built-in that projects images highlighting the excellent performance of the products during the activities of the dogs pulling the sled or in their recreational activities. Images of birch trunks covered in snow were imprinted on all the walls of the stand to recall the cold and fascinating Swedish environment. The floor was covered with a natural fiber carpet and a desk from the Verra series was placed with the logo printed prominently on one side. On the opposite side, large cubes serve as pedestals for silhouettes of dogs wearing the company’s products. Finally, ecological cardboard furniture from the Otles and Ortles S lines was supplied to facilitate meetings with customers
An eco-sustainable set-up is needed to help the planet
An eco-sustainable trade fair stand serves to give a hand to the planet because no matter how spectacular and incredible the fairs are, they still have a cost in terms of resource use. The management of every single phase of a large event such as international trade fairs requires a series of actions that affect the ecological balance of our planet. The materials used, the amount of energy used, waste management and mobility have a cost that is not only economic. Using an eco-sustainable set-up has great advantages in this regard. Cardboard is an environmentally friendly material, made from natural raw materials of vegetable origin and completely recyclable. It is processed with modern technologies but handcrafted by hand, saving a lot of energy. The stands are designed to be simply assembled with interlocking systems, thus eliminating the use of hardware, and decorated with non-toxic prints that do not disperse chemicals into the environment. The furnishings are also ecological and finished with equally natural materials such as glass, cork or lichens.
In short, a machine that revolves around a single goal: to preserve the health of our planet while ensuring our customers scenographic and functional stands that meet their every need.
