Cardboard totems for televisions are a sustainable and functional solution to facilitate the dissemination of messages during an event.
For SMC Media, an editorial services company, we created a series of custom-made totems used to facilitate communication during an event organized by the agency in Milan. SMC was founded as a service company specialized in the management and promotion of biomedical research periodicals belonging to international companies, in collaboration with multinational publishing houses. Over time, it began to organize congress events to further disseminate scientific research by encouraging direct meetings and networks of experts with a particular focus on blood diseases. Today the agency boasts great skills in the organization of events, making use of modern tools and innovative methods.
The location of a historic building was an evocative stage that contrasted with our totems. In fact, we have created very linear structures made up of three pieces assembled together. The central panel in reinforced triple-wave cardboard has been shaped to house the screen and decorated with prints of architectural details of well-known buildings in the city of Milan. This was flanked by two side columns, one colored across the field with different and bright shades on which the name of the advertised place was reported, on the other hand, decorated with the negative of the images on a white background with the descriptive details of the locality. The built-in television did the rest.
The demonstration that our natural cardboard solutions are not only environmentally friendly but also functional and adaptable to any type of location and communication strategy.
