Bionap Srl chooses a natural cardboard set-up to promote its sustainable image at the 2015 edition of Nuce&Food-Ing.
The entire supply chain of the nutraceutical and cosmeceutical industry met in Bologna on 16 and 17 April, creating a stage on which sustainability was the protagonist. NUCE, the international exhibition of raw materials for the nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, functional foods & drinks and health ingredients industries, and FOOD-ING, the event dedicated to ingredients for all sectors of the food and beverage industry, were held for the first time at the same time as Cosmofarma Exhibition, the leading trade fair for the pharmaceutical industry, allowing visitors to follow the entire production chain, from formulation and raw materials to sales in traditional pharmaceutical channels.
Bionap Srl is a dynamic company that produces botanical extracts obtained from plants and fruits that grow in the areas surrounding Mount Etna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Their mission is to discover innovative active substances with the aim of improving the health and well-being of people around the world.
The choice of a natural setting was therefore a rational choice and in line with the sustainable activism that distinguishes us. The exhibition space was then set up with white cardboard walls consisting of a very linear boiserie at the base on which large panels customized with non-toxic prints were mounted showing the images of the company and the list of products that the company sells. At the ends of the walls, two columns have been created with compartments and shelves useful for displaying products during the fair. The stand was illuminated by halogen spotlights mounted on the central back wall. To complete the set-up, a reception desk from the Verra series was created with a laminate top and printed panels and ecological furnishings to welcome buyers and visitors. For the occasion we chose chairs from the Ventina line customized with the company’s colors and an Otro 80 table with tempered glass top.
A natural set-up is a responsible choice for communicating one’s image during a trade fair. In fact, fairs are important meeting places capable of conveying messages to a very large audience. But behind all this organizational machine there is a great use of energy and material resources. Therefore, it is important to commit to making these events sustainable places and giving a hand to the environment. The virtuous way that all companies can take is to opt for exhibition stands made with eco-friendly and recyclable materials that can minimize waste and environmental impact, such as cardboard. But that’s not all. The choice of finishes also affects the ecological impact of an installation. Cork and glass, LEDs are all ecological and reusable materials, suitable for creating scenographic stands with low environmental impact.
