In the modern business context, cardboard set-up of relaxation areas is no longer a simple optional, but a key element to improve the well-being of employees and promote a healthy lifestyle. Our customer Ge.Dist. Srl asked us to create a project for Metalmont that would combine ecological design and functionality in a corporate environment.
The importance of corporate relaxation areas set up with eco-sustainable solutions lies in the ability to offer a regenerative alternative to traditional workspaces. Natur Design’s eco-friendly cardboard solutions not only beautify the environment, but also contribute to the reduction of the company’s overall environmental footprint. Our customers have embraced this philosophy for some time now by spreading our bespoke vending machine fittings that integrate the distribution of drinks, snacks and a separate waste collection system, all set in a decorative structure inspired by nature.
The vending machines have been covered with customized panels with high-definition digital prints that recall the beauty of the mountains, improving the aesthetics of the space and creating an environment that invites you to pause and relax. To ensure privacy and convenience, partition panels have been added to which bulletin boards have been hung for corporate communications, while separate seating provides spaces for rest and socialising.
In another room of the company, we transformed a previously unused corner into a cozy reception area, using innovative and sustainable cut-to-size cardboard shaped furniture. Everything is well organized and ordered for the work of the operators. Modular chairs from the Tisa series and upholstered with natural cotton cushions have been used to furnish a waiting room, their characteristic is that they can be hooked together to form sofas that adapt to the available space. A square planter and a low table with natural lichens and the printed company logo complete the furniture with elegance and style.
This project not only demonstrates Metalmont’s commitment to ensuring healthy environments for its employees but also represents an example of how eco-friendly cardboard set-up can positively transform company spaces. Thanks to initiatives like this, the Metalmont company not only improves the quality of its working environment, but also that of the lives of its employees.
