Viale della Fiera, 20 - Bologna
Our choices can define the destiny of our planet, even small ones such as opting for an eco-sustainable cardboard set-up to promote yourself at a fair. Investing in sustainable practices not only reduces environmental impact, but also long-term costs, improving competitiveness. However, wrong environmental policies can stifle innovation and economic opportunities. It is imperative to join forces to balance economic growth and sustainability.
From this fixed point begins the modern history of the Paolo Muratori company. Starting as a wholesale purchasing center for detergents, paper and cleaning equipment for central Italy, Polo Muratori is now undoubtedly a leader in the world cleaning market. This was also possible thanks to the foresight of its founders who invested in a young chemical company with which they began to produce professional detergents under the PM WASH brand with great export success.
The new company of directors brings a breath of fresh energy and an innovative vision of the future that promotes a circular economy through the PM GREEN brand. The whole company travels on a very specific track, that of sustainability, with a very specific goal, to lower the impact that its business has on nature and the environment, from production to sale.
The company was present at Sana, the international exhibition of organic and natural products, which has just ended in its 2023 edition. The fair, the first in Europe to open its doors to the world of organic and natural, was created with the intention of giving voice to small innovative and natural niche productions, from food to cosmetics to green lifestyle. Thanks to the constant commitment to providing these companies with the best tools to promote themselves, today Sana has become a reference point in the sector, an eagerly awaited event to present new products and influence new market trends.
Designing a natural and functional space to promote a company’s image at the fair is easier when you have guidelines and materials that are environmentally friendly and versatile such as cardboard. Therefore, the Paolo Muratori company has chosen to represent itself in such a competitive context and remaining faithful to its sustainable image with an eco-sustainable cardboard set-up .
The team of architects of Natur Design designed the stand as a garden, a space immersed in a bucolic atmosphere that conveyed the idea of “immersed in nature”, which reflected the commitment that the company puts into the search for ingredients for the production of products for professional daily use with low environmental impact, which emphasized the reuse of waste materials such as paper for packaging and many other gestures that raise the ethical value of the company.
We have placed two display walls supported by containment columns to delimit the stand area which at the same time act as a backdrop for the brand. The walls have been entirely customized with high-definition digital prints, on one of them a forest has been depicted that gives depth to the environment; on the other, however, the references to the company philosophy are clear with clear clearly visible messages. In a corner, suitably camouflaged, we have created a small room that serves as a service room.
Close to one of the walls we strategically positioned a large tree display from the Geri line which served to accommodate the products that the company promotes. Also for exhibition purposes, we have created some cubes of different sizes, always customized with ecological prints in harmony with the chosen theme, which give movement to the space thus avoiding flattening it. Finally, we completed the set-up with a Losa L reception desk with a laminate top and logo printed on the front and a series of various object holders on the back. Some furnishings with an innovative and functional design create that warm atmosphere of welcome. A Soi Plus high stool has been positioned behind the reception desk as a comfortable seat for the operator, an Ortles table with tempered glass top and natural lichen decoration coordinated with Taviela chairs with ecological cotton padding, form a comfortable corner to welcome customers.
We consider this eco-sustainable set-up very lucky, despite its simplicity, because it is kissed by natural light that penetrates through an all-glass wall of the fair that floods the space with a magical natural light that emphasizes even more the importance of an ethical, aesthetic and functional choice such as that of an eco-sustainable set-up in natural cardboard.
