The Zoomark Fair in Bologna is an unmissable event for all animal and environmental lovers, and this year Gia Pet Distribution srl has decided to amaze the public with an innovative and sustainable cardboard stand to promote the Erba Più brand. The main goal was to create a natural-looking exhibition environment that would offer a unique experience for visitors and their feline friends.
The story of Gia Pet Distribution is a testimony of vision, courage and determination. In 2005, the family together with their beloved cat Zucca, embarked on an entrepreneurial path that led to the creation of a successful company. The initial idea might seem outlandish: grow grass for cats. So full of enthusiasm but with few means, the adventure began: the “AZIENDA AGRICOLA FELIX” was born, dedicated to the production and distribution of grass for cats. Their business, initially limited to regional borders, extends to the largest chains of stores specialized in the sector. The next step was to found Gia Pet Distribution Srls, a company focused on the marketing and distribution of ERBA PIU’, a registered trademark that cat grass had taken on over the years. This step further consolidated the success of the company, which today is a benchmark in the pet accessories sector. Their story is an example of how passion, dedication and courage can transform an original and seemingly extravagant idea into lasting entrepreneurial success.
Participating in trade shows like Zoomark is crucial for companies in the pet industry. These events provide an unparalleled platform to showcase products and services to a large global audience. With a focus that embraces nutrition, care, comfort and many other aspects, Zoomark connects companies at every level of the supply chain. The opportunities for networking, partnerships, and knowledge exchanges are unparalleled. In addition, the figures and facts show that Zoomark is the ideal location for the industry: a springboard for new products, a platform for trends and innovations, and a crucial point for the continued success of the pet industry.
So the company contacted us to design and build a natural cardboard stand to present itself to the public. The idea was clear: to use natural cardboard as the main material to create an environment that was reminiscent of nature and cat-friendly. The cardboard, being environmentally friendly and easily recyclable, was a perfect match for the sustainable philosophy of both brands.
Designing the stand
The natural cardboard stand that we present embodies the concept of sustainability and innovative design. Every element of this exhibition space has been carefully designed to reflect the company’s commitment to the environment.
The charmingly decorated back wall immediately catches the eye of visitors. The central column proudly houses the company’s distinctive logo, boldly affirming its commitment to sustainability. Elegant cardboard wall displays have been mounted on the side columns, custom-made in the natural Havana finish of the cardboard. This choice of color creates a fascinating contrast with the green walls, drawing visitors’ attention to each product on display. These displays show that it is possible to combine aesthetics with ecology.
The exhibition area is complemented by a series of highly functional furniture. A table from the Otro series and Ortles stools are made with the same attention to sustainable design. A custom-made counter is equipped with a protective top covered in white laminate, with the company logo in 3D at the base and useful compartments for objects.
A Gelas design display cabinet adds a touch of elegance to the space, allowing you to display more performing products in style. In the center of the stand stands an imposing totem pole , also made of natural cardboard, with personalized digital printing on all fronts. The company logo stands out in 3D and a display compartment with a spotlight illuminates the products on display in an attractive way.
This stand is a demonstration of how sustainability and aesthetics can coexist harmoniously. Each element has been carefully designed and crafted to respect the environment and to leave a lasting impression on visitors. It is an extraordinary example of how natural cardboard can be transformed into a true work of exhibition art
