We created an eco-sustainable set-up to host the National Convention of Technical Professions, held in Rome on 16 and 17 February 2024, which represented a crucial moment of discussion for the future of the sector. The event, organized by the Technical Professions Network (RPT) in collaboration with the communication agency Penta Studio and sponsored by numerous bodies including the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, brought together over 1000 delegates from all over Italy.
At the center of the work, the analysis of the challenges and opportunities that the current landscape offers to technical professionals. Among the key topics discussed were the digital and green transition, environmental sustainability, land safety and the redevelopment of the building stock.
The main objective of the Convention was to strengthen the strategic role of technical professions in the development of the country. In a constantly evolving context, the skills and experience of engineers, architects, surveyors and industrial experts are of fundamental importance for the realization of innovative and sustainable works.
The event was also an opportunity to consolidate the internal cohesion of the sector and to promote collaboration between the different disciplines.
Setting up an event effectively is a crucial moment for the success of the same. With the philosophy that distinguishes Natur Design , we have created an innovative eco-sustainable set-up using only ecological materials, with particular attention to the use of natural cardboard for the entire Auditorium della Tecnica that hosted the convention. The design of the spaces was meticulous, dividing the area into individual workstations equipped with functional furnishings designed to encourage comfortable meetings and productive discussions with the public.
The reception desks of the Arolla series, which is characterized by a smooth and wide front, ideal for displaying the logos of the participating companies. Each station was complete with seating, offering a choice of stools and chairs to ensure maximum comfort. To complete the individual workstations and harmonize the whole, we have equipped each workstation with a self-supporting back wall consisting of cardboard panels surrounded by columns that ensure stability.
To ensure that the atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, we have included lounges with sofas and coffee tables belonging to the Golliaz and Ortles series. These furnishings not only provide comfort, but also add a touch of sophistication to the environment.
No detail has been overlooked, including the bins for separate waste collection , demonstrating our commitment to environmental sustainability. The eco-sustainable natural cardboard set-ups proved to be not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical and quick to assemble solutions, allowing complete customization of the spaces to adapt to the specific needs of the event. With our ecological approach, we show that it is possible to combine aesthetics with environmental responsibility, offering cutting-edge solutions for successful events.
We ourselves have been the testimonials of sustainability and innovation through the use of cardboard to create ecological installations. Our presence was underlined by our participation with a dedicated stand, highlighting our commitment to supporting the event and the importance that the professionals present attach to sustainability.
The general set-ups have been deliberately left neutral so as to ensure a fair representation of all the participating companies, and their reuse at other events, emphasizing even more the culture of recycling and the fight against waste. Our stand, on the other hand, stood out as a tangible example of how cardboard can embody the future of installations, offering a tangible example of how we can customize spaces by shaping cardboard in shapes and colors.
Our booth represented a visual manifesto of innovation, highlighting the versatility of the material and its positive impact on sustainable practices.
