In Barcelona, too, the corporate image is promoted with a natural cardboard stand by Natur Design.
Expoquimia ended a few days ago in the magnificent city of Barcelona, a European fair that saw the protagonists of the Mediterranean companies of the industrial sector that met here to discuss the economic developments of the reference markets for the coming years.
Among them is the company Manifattura Tubi Gomma Spa specialized in the design of high-tech products for a wide range of industrial applications. The strength of the company lies in a highly innovative research and development sector that creates customized and non-standard items for customers ranging from the pharmaceutical sector to the railway industry.
MTG’s need was to have a comfortable and impressive exhibition space capable of welcoming its customers and being able to interact efficiently with visitors interested in their products. He therefore commissioned us to create a natural cardboard set-up that would meet these needs.
Designing the space
Each new assignment for Natru Design starts with the phase in which the space must be designed. First of all, we need to start from the physical space available and around it, and the functional technical needs, we design the stand. In this case, we built a modular back wall that occupies three sides of the space. The central part is a half-column in which we have embedded a 65-inch screen on which the company projected images of the company during the fair. This half-column is flanked on both sides by display niches in which segments of pipes produced by the company for demonstration purposes have been placed. At both ends of the back wall, two modular columns were built on which giant images of the company’s high-tech fittings were printed, overlaid by relief structures in which silhouettes of the same fittings were carved. A further column concealed a small service room with a flush door that disappeared into the wall. The set-up is completed by a semicircular reception desk from the Losa E series and furniture compositions in natural cardboard consisting of tables from the Cian series with laminate tops and chairs from the Taviela line with natural cotton padding. The colors chosen by the customer are those that best represent the linear and energetic spirit of the company, white and orange.
Ecological and functional
A trade fair stand made of natural cardboard is an ecological and functional solution that is also ideal for trade fairs that are organized abroad. The structures are made of modules that can be easily composed and disassembled, easily transportable and light in terms of weight. All this has a positive impact on the management of resources and on the impact that a set-up can have on a trade fair. A cardboard stand is like a small ecosystem in which each element is designed to be functional and organized so as to allow the customer to use it as a business card during the exhibition. All the more so when the fair has an international character and you have to deal with an audience that has different needs and culture.
