Green cardboard fittings will save the world… Or at least they will give a big hand in reducing waste in the organization of events and fairs and raising public awareness of virtuous behaviors that can help protect the health of our planet. But to do this we need everyone’s contribution, from the individual citizen to large companies that with their work and example can be an important driving force. There are many companies today that have converted or are converting their policies towards sustainable activities that involve not only their corporate structure but also all their customers.
Kumavision, a stand between game and reality
The Kumavision company was an example in this sense by asking us to create stands that between game and reality could convey the quality of the technology they spread experienced in real life. It was exciting for us to accept this challenge. The project was entrusted to us by the German agency Ke Communication , which in the preparatory phase convincingly explained to us what the reasons for the required set-ups were. Kumavision is one of Microsoft’s largest partners for medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries and specializes in the digitization of business processes through highly competitive software. In the context of the annual Customer Forum in Stuttgart, the company wanted to offer its consumers a real experience by interacting directly with Microsoft technology in a real context reconstructed with cardboard sets. In fact, a background scenario has been created that portrays the Speicherstadt department store district in Hamburg and small shops have been reconstructed using the theme of spices, typical of the market, in which to interact with technological tools. At the base of the whole set-up there is the concept that technology innovates business processes by making them agile and increasing the competitiveness of companies on increasingly dynamic markets by integrating with the needs of real life. Decisive for the success of this innovative entertainment were the simple and modular design of our set-ups, the sustainability of the material used and the novelty of the idea.
The realization of the installations
The creation of the installations started with the design of 8 different thematic stations, each representing a different spice and differentiated from each other by color and size. On this occasion, for the first time, we were able to successfully experiment with a new technique for the construction of cardboard stands designed by the experts of Natur Design that allows you to install our structures with great ease and in full autonomy thanks to a patented assembly system and simple instructions. This represents a great advantage in terms of exhibition or event set-ups, especially if the event is organized, as in this case, in a country far from the country where the stand is produced, with considerable cost savings for the end customer.
Each workstation is equipped with 2-meter-high back walls decorated with ecological digital prints and enriched by reception desks of the Vago 120 L series with laminate top. Each station was made in the color of the spice represented. To make the spaces comfortable and welcoming, ecological cardboard furnishings have been added such as the Ortles Plus crossed tables, chairs from the Taviela line and several custom-made displays .
A training experience that further strengthens our conviction that our company is going in the right direction by translating our know-how into innovative and useful ideas. A hospitable atmosphere, an unexpected space, a message of green solidarity that satisfied customers and conveyed positive value that was reflected throughout the company.
“With Nardi Mobili we were fully convinced not only by the sustainable design of the cardboard exhibition stands, but also by the personal support and short delivery times. Our customers were enthusiastic about the innovative concept.”
