Cardboard furniture is gaining ground thanks to the growing green awareness of an increasingly large public aware of the health needs of the planet. In addition, new low-impact technologies and natural cardboard allow us to create eco-sustainable, innovative solutions with a great aesthetic impact. Cardboard furniture is changing the way we conceive spaces, even in commercial and hospitality environments.
This is the assumption from which Camping Bergamini started when it contacted us to create a new reception space using eco-sustainable furniture. The eco camping is located in Peschiera del Garda and is part of the Garda Green network, an association of tourism companies on Lake Garda that have signed a protocol, i.e. a sustainability management system (Sustainable Management System) designed to recognize the commitment of Garda tourism companies to the environment. This protocol makes it possible to “enhance the investments of time and money made for sustainability, as well as redevelop and seasonally adjust the tourist offer on Lake Garda”.
Camping Bergamini is very active in the field of sustainability, so much so that it has become a real flag. In addition to the latest generation of mobile homes, covered with natural and insulating materials and equipped with all comforts, the campsite uses self-produced energy from renewable sources. Recently, it has introduced a new eco-sustainable reception desk furnished with cardboard furniture by Natur Design, to convey a clear message about their green vision to its customers from the first impact.
Added to this is the warmth of the family welcome and a professional and kind staff, which makes the experience at Camping Bergamini even more enjoyable. The attention to eco-sustainability fits perfectly with the desire to offer a comfortable and memorable stay to its guests.
Cardboard furniture, with its linear design, is able to create spaces that are not only comfortable and functional, but also relaxing and inviting. Camping Bergamini has chosen different pieces of furniture to furnish the areas dedicated to welcoming customers, giving a touch of originality and sustainability to the environment.
At the entrance, in a modern and large veranda, characterized by windows and natural wood cladding, tables from the Otro series with glass shelves and decorative inserts have been arranged. These tables, paired with Ortles stools equipped with cushions, provide a comfortable and welcoming seating for visitors. This area is dedicated to initial reception services.
The reception area itself has been set up with a custom-made cardboard desk, the front of which is decorated with natural lichen inlays, offering a unique glance in harmony with the surrounding nature. Here, guests can check in while enjoying the spectacular view of the lake, located just a short walk away.
The desks of the Lys series, chosen for the work of employees, guarantee well-being thanks to their ergonomic features, contributing to a healthy and pleasant working environment. In addition, a small meeting room has been equipped with a Lys desk and cardboard chairs designed by Arbola, creating a functional space that is stylistically consistent with the entire structure.
