A trade fair set-up for a green promotion during a medical congress? We did it!
The 54th National Congress organized in Rimini by ANMCO, the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists, has just taken place, which was attended by all the major representatives of the medical and pharmaceutical field, ready to promote research and technological discoveries with stands. The Congress, which represents the most important medical event in the field of cardiology, aimed to make an examination of past experiences in this field to promote new ideas, projects and technologies for the training of the new doctors of the future and the development of new techniques for the protection of our health.
For the occasion, the CNC Group agency in Milan commissioned us to create a natural cardboard exhibition stand for the well-known Bayer pharmaceutical group , coordinating the company’s image with the sustainable commitment that distinguishes it.
From words to deeds
Moving from words to deeds , we designed an installation on a bare area, modeling it as an open area, imagining a square in which to meet and exchange ideas, without barriers or walls. We therefore placed a back wall formed by a central body in the shape of a television in which a screen was recessed from which to project images and promotional messages during the event. This hid a small service room suitably integrated with the environment. The centered body was connected to two side panels decorated with the colors and logo of the company. The peculiarity of the set-up was a large remote control made to measure and positioned in the direction of the TV which, in addition to being an unusual decorative element, had two functions, one practical and one symbolic. The remote control was actually a gigantic battery charger to which visitors to the stand could connect their phones to recharge, but above all it wanted to be an interpretation of the action carried out by cardiologists every day: to give energy to our heart with their material and intellectual work. On the opposite side of the back wall, a custom-made reception desk with a laminate top equipped with a series of stools from the Soi and Soi Plus series has been created.The set-up was completed with Taviela chairs customized in color and equipped with comfortable padding on the seat and backrest, and tables from the Cian C line with digital printing, also customized, on the legs. Finally, a circular panel with the name of the company descended from the sky which served to indicate the position of the stand even from afar.

An eco-friendly cardboard stand is more than an aesthetic choice, it’s ethical. Unfortunately, Congress has been devastated by the terrible climate catastrophe that has hit our country in recent days, causing serious damage and innocent victims. This shows how the exploitation of resources has reached such a limit that it requires serious reflections that none of us can escape anymore. Aesthetic choices, even in the preference for the means through which to promote oneself and one’s own communication, must be made with conscience. Preferring recyclable and sustainable materials is the right way. Natural cardboard is a versatile and easy-to-work material to give the shape that your imagination can dictate, completely customizable. In addition, all the set-ups are designed to be easily assembled with interlocking systems that do not require large equipment, and it is so easy that everyone can assemble it independently. The structure of the cardboard is lightweight and therefore easy to transport once disassembled and is always reusable.
