After more than 10 years of work in the ecological furniture sector, the Nardi family decided to take a step forward and propose a new brand that was born with clear intentions: the ambition is to look to the future and address an increasingly global market.
All this always with the same commitment and passion in developing furnishing solutions and installations characterized by sustainable design and included in the processes of the circular economy.
Expanding into an international market had become a priority for our company, especially considering the growing demand for eco-sustainable products: companies and consumers are increasingly attentive to the environmental impact of their purchases, both in the furniture sector and in the fittings sector.
For us, turning to an international market to meet the demands of this market segment represents a significant growth opportunity to be seized without ever betraying our mission, which is to distinguish ourselves from the competition with a proposal of innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
In addition, the international approach will allow us to acquire new skills and knowledge, which can also be applied locally to improve our product and service offering.
In short, the international market represents an opportunity for NaturDesign to develop in line with our values.
The word “Cardboard Furniture” is part of our corporate character, which is why we wanted to keep it in the new logo as well, also for reasons of recognition. However, we wanted to add the terms Natur and Design because they give a clearer idea of what we do.
In fact, NaturDesign does not want to be a trivial furniture company: we do not limit ourselves to producing catalog furniture, but our strength lies in knowing how to listen to the needs of customers and propose solutions that are in line with their expectations and their projects. To do this, we have an increasingly large team of designers and architects who accompany customers at every stage: from conception, to design, to installation on site.
NaturDesign knows how to create set-ups for events, stands, offices or shops that are customized (both in shapes and prints), functional, durable and reusable.
Cardboard is a natural material and its strength lies in being both durable and easily recyclable.
Not all cardboard can boast these characteristics and NaturDesign uses only the highest quality cardboard: 14 mm thick triple-wave panels for standard furniture, or 16 mm honeycomb panels in the case of fittings that require fireproof materials (class 1 fire certification).
Thanks to cardboard we are able to create 99% of the solutions necessary for the installations, but when necessary we use other sustainable and functional finishes, such as cork sheets, “seagrass” carpets, stabilized lichen inserts, or glass shelves. All this to give no limits to creativity, while always remaining in the context of furniture that is innovative and ecological.
